"A FRIEND IN NEED"

THE VELVET FROG believes strongly that children deserve a unique & special place to call their own....a place to let their imaginations grow, a place that let them just simply be.

"Your children are only young once ... but their creativity, sophistication & youthfulness can last a lifetime!"

Realizing that in today's economy there are situations and circumstances that create "A Friend In Need", THE VELVET FROG would like to do a small part in helping those individuals and their deserving children out.

To nominate a "friend in need", please submit the following information --

• Full name of individual for consideration (first and last)
• Address of individual you are nominating
• Your name (first and last) and contact information (at least 2 phone numbers, email & addres
• First name & age of children
• What the nominated family needs for their childs room.   We only are able to consider physical items for decorating a child's room (bedding, lighting, accessories, furniture).   THE VELVET FROG will not provide remodeling or contracting services of any kind.  
• A written personal essay as to why you are nominating this individual, and how you feel this contribution by THE VELVET FROG can make the lives of the recipient's child(ren) a little better.

Nominations will be reviewed by our board of directors, and one recipient will be selected every other month.    Submitted entries will be kept for six (6) months from the date of receipt by THE VELVET FROG.  

ENTRY RULES & CONSIDERATIONS:

• One entry per nominated family.
• THE VELVET FROG assumes the right to edit the request and provide products and merchandise that are deemed most appropriate for the receiving individual.
• THE VELVET FROG assumes no liability for injury, damage, etc as a result of injury from products provided.
• Merchandise provided by THE VELVET FROG is to be used for personal use only.

As THE VELVET FROG continues to grow, we hope to increase the scope of our "FRIEND IN NEED" project.  So please check back with us frequently to hear what we're able to do to make a positive difference in the life of a child.
